I am learning so much about Minneapolis! United Noodles is an oriental food market that sells a lot of different cuisines from Chinese to Japanese to Indian, etc. They have a ramen restaurant in the middle of the store. You would not expect to drive by this place and know what it is - it's kind of tucked in a warehouse district, but it is such a neat experience! For the fun experience and being able to get all ranges of Asian cuisine in a one stop shop, I give this place a 5 star. They had fruit that I had never seen before and apples straight from China! There were a few cons with coming here. You can find some good deals but it is a little spendy to shop here. I dont think it's priced where you could do all your grocery shopping there if you wanted to. The staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable about the different products (at least in this experience). They knew where things were but not what the difference was between say a gold label and silver for seaweed. With this sort of store, it would be nice for newcomers to get more of a hands on experience and I would definitely have bought more. The ramen restaurant, we found out, doesn't use noodles that you can buy in their store...they buy them from somewhere else. I was kind of surprised they wouldn't offer a product that they're advertising. Are their ramen noodles they're selling not good then? What are you saying to customers? My boyfriend was raving about how good their ramen was until we had it. Dont get me wrong - the meat was falling apart tender (very impressive work with their meat and eggs!!) - which was amazing, but ramen is mostly about the broth and the broth had no flavor. It smelled amazing but when you tried it, it just tasted more like water. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be? We added soy sauce and hot sauce to it and it ended up being really delicious!! But it didnt seem to be as good as it used to as far as flavor. Their calamari bites were really tasty. See the attached pictur

Amazing selection of products from all across Asia. We go for the Taiwan goodies -- Ten Ren teas, Apple Sidra, thick soy sauce for dan bing, and kong xin tsai, aka water spinach! It's so hard to find in the states. One of our favorite places to get treats and staples. Excellent prices on fresh food, lovely selection of mushrooms, herbs, greens, and Mr. Donut-style mochi doughnuts. Check it out!

For all you Hawaii transplants, this is your store. Not only do they now have an Ono Hawaiian Plates in the market, but they have a lot of local items that you would find in Foodland or Safeway. Stock up!

Such a phenomenal selection of snacks, great cooking and pantry ingredients, and always a fun selection of rotating fresh produce. Clearly marked prices, helpful staff, small but well stocked and easily navigable. I will be coming here for ages to come.

Kind of a sketch area but they have EVERYTHING here! It's in Minneapolis but they have their own parking lot. Definitely will be my go-to for Asian produce and other goods. Amazing variety! ALL of the staples for ANY Asian cuisine. The prices are incredibly fair, especially for difficult-to-find items. They even have tons of stuff they discount that are about to expire. Count me in!

An excellent asian grocery store. You will find snacks, produce, ingredients, frozen foods, veggies, ramen and and many more asian ingredients. The store is very clean and well organized. Items are easy to find as there are signs of what aisles have. The aisles are a bit tight in some areas, if someone has a cart, it will be a bit tight for someone to pass by. We liked that it has many frozen items and products that aren't found at some other stores as well. There are some deals on select items. There is also a kitchenware section where you can find many types of utensils; from knives, spoons, forks, chopsticks, cooking ware and much more (in pictures). Ono Hawaii is here which is highly recommended. The bahnmi is made fresh as well. Overall, this is an amazing store to find and satisfy your asian food cravings.

Ever since moving to Minneapolis, this place has been my go to. Huge variety of products and most are super affordable (can’t blame them for shitty government choices). Beyond good groceries, there’s a Hawaiian restaurant inside that is AMAZING! Gigantic dishes for cheap and always delicious. Can’t recommend enough.

Great store with lots of variety. Lots of authentic ingredients and options at this grocery store. They even have a few restaurants inside. We’ve been able to find some hard to find ingredients at this grocery store. They also have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as some butchered meat. If you’re doing some east Asian or southeast Asian cooking, you’ll most likely find almost all the ingredients here. They also have some essential cooking utensils and other decorations. Highly recommend this store if you’re looking for some special or just day-to-day Asian ingredients!
